Exercise 6
Morainic workout
Sven the Continental Glacier particularly enjoyed this exercise! He pushed masses of clay and formed neat terminal moraines out of it in front of himself.
Sven pushed hard against the ground with all his might. He engaged his whole body to do this, even (or should we say, in particular) his forefront. He did not fear tiny particles of clay mixed with sand and rather large rocks. He pushed so hard that he moved them upward. Then he formed high hills from them – even 100 metres tall and many kilometres long.
Compete with Sven! How far can you push a moraine?
Hold the rails with your hands and push.
The measure will show you how far your moraine has moved.
