Exercise 4

Be like an ice block

When the Continental Glacier was retreating, he left ice blocks behind. Such a block could stop water flowing from the melting Continental Glacier. That is when a rather large lake was created. At the bottom of these lakes tiny particles of clay and loam were deposited. For hundreds of years the layer of many-metres-thick sediment was created. It is a perfect material for making bricks.

Be like an ice block! It can hold its position for hundreds of years.

How long will you be able to hold yours?

  1. Stand with your back against the wall.
  2. Lower yourself to a seated position and keep your back firmly against the wall.
  3. Hold this position for as long as you can.
