Heritage is keepsakes left for us by the people who lived before us. It can be a ring which once belonged to our grandma or a castle in which kings used to live a long time ago. Heritage is also traditions which we know from our family home such as decorating a Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. They are connected to various memories and stories. Thanks to them we remember about the people who were important to us, even if they are no longer with us. These keepsakes and traditions are precious to us, which is why we protect them. We want other people to be able to enjoy them as well.
