EDUCATION

Can you imagine Poznań without students? During the summer months, the streets seem a bit empty only to get crowded with young people in October. They are the ones who add colour to the city.

Poznań has always needed educated people – officials familiar with the law, doctors who were medical experts, resourceful traders and industrialists as well as clergymen and humanists who enriched the inhabitants of Poznań spiritually and culturally.

To fulfil this ambition, schools could not be an educational backwater. The best educational models, the flow of knowledge and international student exchange programmes were needed to educate the next generation of students.
