Andrzej Bobrowski, Fields of emotions, 2021

Andrzej Bobrowski is a professor and a yearslong lecturer at the University of the Arts in Poznan. He runs the Graphic Arts Studio.

Fields of emotions may be interpreted in connection with the subject of the exhibition as well as its location at the Śluza Gallery. On the one hand, its form reminds us of the layers of dust which gathers on the collection’s works of art kept in storerooms. On the other hand, it also presents a geological cross-section depicting the passing of time – something that has a special meaning on Cathedral Island in Poznan.
