Marek opened his first business connected to feather fillings in 1972. At first he was mainly cleaning feathers and repairing pillows. Over time he expanded his offer and began to sew duvets.

Marek’s workshop was located in the Poznan district of Łazarz. However, in the 1990s he had to find a new place.

‘Due to the changes of ownership at ul. Małeckiego, I had to give up this place, even though our business had been located there for many, many years. Here, at ul. Roosevelta, Ms Karaszewska ran her own business. She suggested that I should take over this place.’
